Job Description
As a Marine Chief Mechanic (M/F), you will be responsible for operating and maintaining onboard installations. You will organize and perform regular maintenance of propulsion engines, ship equipment, and general vessel upkeep. When possible, you will also assist with passenger safety, deck maneuvers, and vessel maintenance. This seasonal position runs from June to the end of August. You must hold a valid Chief Mechanic certificate (750kW, 3000kW or higher) and have prior experience as a Greaser Sailor, Mechanic Worker, Chief or Machine Lieutenant. Join Les Vedettes de l'Odet, a company established since 1962 on the Finistère South coast, specializing in maritime tourist transport with 8 passenger ships operating from Bénodet, Concarneau and nearby ports.
