Job Description
As a Marine Chief Mechanic, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining onboard installations. You will organize and perform routine maintenance on propulsion engines, ship equipment, and general ship maintenance. You will also manage ship inventories and conduct daily safety rounds in coordination with the captain. When duties permit, you will participate in passenger safety, ship maneuvers, and vessel upkeep. Positions are based in Bénodet, Concarneau, and La Forêt Fouesnant from June to late August. Candidates must hold a valid Chief Mechanic certificate (750kW to 3000kW) and have prior experience as a Greaser Seaman, Mechanic Worker, Chief, or Machine Lieutenant.
