Job Description

As a Marine Chief Mechanic (M/F), you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of onboard installations. You'll organize and carry out routine maintenance of propulsion engines, ship apparatus, and general maintenance. Managing ship stocks and daily safety rounds in coordination with the captain are key duties. You will also assist with passenger safety and ship operations during available times. Positions are based in Bénodet, Concarneau, and La Forêt Fouesnant from June to the end of August.

Candidates must have a valid Chief Mechanic certificate (750kW, 3000kW, or higher). Prior experience as a Greaser Seaman, Mechanical Worker, Chief or Machine Lieutenant is preferred.
