Job Description
As a Marine Chief Engineer onboard, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining shipboard installations. You will organize and perform routine maintenance of propulsion engines, ship apparatus, and general onboard upkeep. Additionally, you will manage ship inventories and conduct daily safety rounds with the captain. When possible, you will assist in passenger safety, deck maneuvers, and vessel maintenance. Positions are based in Bénodet, Concarneau, and La Forêt Fouesnant from June to late August. Candidates must hold a valid Chief Engineer license (750kW, 3000kW or higher) and have prior experience as a Greaser Seaman, Mechanical Worker, Chief or Machine Lieutenant.
