About the role

Adecco in Laval is looking for a mechanic for its client, which specializes in passenger transport and mobility in Mayenne. The purpose of the assignment is to maintain, diagnose and repair vehicles and equipment.

On a daily basis, you will contribute directly to the safety and availability of the vehicle fleet.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles in accordance with safety rules.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical or electronic faults on passenger transport vehicles and fixed equipment.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on rolling stock and help prepare vehicles for MINES inspections.
• Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic components on rolling or fixed equipment.
• Use protective and safety equipment appropriate to each task.
• Know and follow procedures and hygiene and safety instructions.
• Listen to drivers and operations teams to identify their needs and carry out necessary minor work.
• Communicate with different contacts and pass on useful information to your manager.

Requirements

• We are looking for someone reliable, committed and attentive to safety, in addition to having technical skills.
• Logical thinking and analytical ability, particularly when troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and organize your work rigorously.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Team spirit and ability to work with different contacts.
• A sense of responsibility, with particular attention to safety.
• Awareness of the ISO approach and compliance with hygiene, safety and environmental standards.
• CAP/BEP or vocational baccalaureate in mechanics.
• At least 2 years of experience in a technical and mechanical environment is preferred.

Key information

• Contract: permanent contract
• Working hours: 39 hours per week
• Pay: €13.45 gross/hour
• Start date: as soon as possible
