Job Opportunity: Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (H/F)
Join a dynamic maintenance team in a company specialized in non-hazardous waste treatment and disposal. Your main mission is to ensure the availability and safety of trucks, containers, and machinery through rigorous maintenance and effective repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on heavy vehicles and machinery
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance (oil changes, brakes, suspension, hydraulic systems)
- Maintain accurate records and report anomalies
- Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a tidy work station
Schedule & Conditions:
- Full-time, shifts from 7 AM–2 PM and 1 PM–8 PM, Monday to Friday
- Occasional Saturdays and on-call duties
- Long-term assignment with competitive hourly pay based on experience
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in heavy vehicle mechanics or automotive maintenance
- Strong foundations in mechanical repairs and basic electrical knowledge
- Ability to diagnose faults and propose solutions
- Team player with rigor, responsibility, and adaptability
- Additional certifications (CACES, PL/SPL licenses) are a plus
