Join Us as a Heavy Vehicle and Machinery Mechanic!
You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing Heavy Trucks, public works machinery, urban cleanliness equipment, and agricultural machinery either at our workshop at La Cotonnière site or directly on the urban community sites of Caen la mer.
Key responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems, detecting issues, and managing defective part orders. You will also participate in workshop organization and maintenance.
We seek candidates with a CAP / BEP or BAC Pro in repair, heavy vehicle mechanics, agricultural machinery, or public works, or equivalent substantial job experience. Solid mechanical knowledge and adherence to safety and hygiene standards are essential.
Must-have: B driver's license; C/E license preferred.
The role may require evening, weekend, or holiday work during emergencies (storms, floods, snow plans) and handling heavy loads up to 20kg. Enjoy contributing to a motivated team with a mission to maintain the fleet for Caen la mer urban community and related entities.
