Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (M/F)

About the role

Manpower Recruitment Agency of Aveyron is looking for its client, a recognized player in the public works and industrial equipment sector, for a Heavy Vehicle and Public Works Mechanic (M/F) on a permanent contract (CDI).

Responsibilities

• Ensure routine and preventive maintenance of heavy vehicles and public works machinery
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical failures
• Perform necessary repairs while respecting safety procedures
• Check equipment functionality after intervention
• Participate in the monitoring and proper maintenance of the workshop
• Ensure compliance with safety instructions and quality of interventions

Requirements

• Training in automotive mechanics, heavy vehicles, agricultural machinery, or public works
• Ideally some initial experience in a similar position
• Strong technical skills in mechanics
• Qualities: rigor and autonomy, team spirit, service and quality orientation, ability to efficiently diagnose and resolve breakdowns, respect for safety rules
• Motivated beginners with a good technical base will also be considered
