Job Description
Join our client as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic in a permanent role based in Quincieux (69), with occasional national travel to various work sites. Work within a mechanical workshop specializing in public works including dry networks, public lighting, and civil engineering for telecommunications and railway signaling. Your tasks will include repairing and maintaining heavy and light vehicles and construction machinery, diagnosing medium-level difficulties, routine maintenance and preparation for control tests, diesel engine repair, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, machining, and welding. Use various workshop machine tools like lathes, milling machines, and drill presses.
Profile sought:
- CAP/BEP qualification in heavy vehicle or construction machinery maintenance
- Significant experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of professional regulatory requirements (safety inspections for machinery)
- Rigorous, methodical, adaptable
- Possession of EC driving license and relevant CACES certifications (forklift, crane, auxiliary crane)
