Join Our Team as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic!
Be part of the Parc Matériel service responsible for managing and maintaining the vehicle fleet for urban communities including Caen la Mer, the city of Caen, and CCAS. Reporting to the team leader, you will handle repairs on heavy trucks, agricultural machinery, public works equipment, and urban cleaning machines, along with managing external service follow-ups.
You should have:
- CAP/BEP or BAC Pro in relevant fields or equivalent experience
- Strong skills in mechanics, repair techniques, and standards
- Knowledge of advanced technology in engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Rigorous attention to safety and hygiene
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and hierarchy
Working conditions:
- Potential evening, weekend, and holiday work in emergencies
- On-call duties with winter service participation
- Physically demanding with heavy load handling and noisy, dusty environments
