Job Overview
As a Heavy Vehicle and Machinery Mechanic, you will maintain and repair heavy trucks, public works machinery, urban cleaning equipment, and agricultural machinery at our workshop or directly on community sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Detect faults, order defective spare parts, and help organize and maintain the workshop.
Candidate Profile
- Hold a CAP/BEP or BAC Pro in repair, heavy vehicle, agricultural, or public works machinery, or have significant experience.
- Solid knowledge of mechanics, repair techniques, and safety standards.
- Adapt to evolving technologies (engine injection, hydraulics, electricity) across various vehicles and equipment.
- Be rigorous, organized, methodical, communicative, and hold a category B driving license (C/E preferred).
Working Conditions
- Possible evening, weekend, and holiday work depending on emergency needs and weather conditions.
- On-call duties and participation in winter road maintenance.
- Physical work including lifting loads over 20kg and working in dusty, noisy, and odorous environments.
