Job Opportunity: Heavy Vehicle and Equipment Mechanic (M/F)

Join the Caen la Mer urban community team in maintaining and repairing heavy vehicles, public works machinery, urban cleaning equipment, and agricultural machinery. As a mechanic, you'll diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems, ensuring vehicles and equipment run smoothly. Your expertise in heavy vehicle mechanics, adherence to safety rules, and methodical approach will be highly valued. Flexible work hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required based on emergencies or weather conditions.

Requirements:

• CAP/BEP or BAC Pro focused on repair for heavy vehicles, agricultural or public works equipment
• Solid knowledge in mechanics, repair techniques, norms, and ongoing technology updates
• Valid driver's licenses (B required, C/E preferred)
• Rigor, organization, and communication skills

Work Environment:

• Workshop and various community sites
• Possibility of handling heavy loads and working in dusty, noisy, and sometimes odorous conditions
