Join our team as a Heavy Vehicle and Equipment Mechanic (M/F) with CAEN LA MER!

In this essential role, you will maintain and repair heavy vehicles, agricultural machinery, public works equipment, and urban cleaning vehicles for the Caen urban community, the city of Caen, and CCAS. You will work under the team leader's supervision, ensuring high standards of mechanical repair, following health and safety rules, and maintaining communication with clients and management.

Requirements:

• CAP / BEP or BAC Pro in repair, heavy vehicles, agriculture, or public works, or significant relevant experience
• Strong knowledge in mechanics, repair techniques, and evolving technologies (engine injection, hydraulics, electricity)
• Rigorous, organized, and able to communicate effectively
• Driving license B required; C/E preferred

Working Conditions:

• Possible evening, weekend, and holiday work during emergencies
• On-call duties as needed
• Physically demanding environment (loads > 20Kg, dusty, noisy)
