Job Opportunity: Heavy Vehicle and Equipment Mechanic (M/F)
Join the Parc Matériel service team dedicated to managing and maintaining the vehicle and rolling stock fleet for the urban community of Caen la mer, the city of Caen, and CCAS. Under the team leader's guidance, you'll handle repairs for heavy vehicles, agricultural equipment, public works machinery, and urban cleaning vehicles across these communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair on heavy trucks, public works equipment, urban cleaning machines, and agricultural machinery.
- Work in the workshop located at the Cotonnière site or at various community sites.
- Diagnose and address issues in hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Identify and order defective spare parts.
- Help organize and maintain the workshop.
Candidate Profile
- Holder of one of the territorial technical assistant grades or equivalent with a CAP/BEP or BAC Pro in heavy vehicle repair, agricultural machinery, or public works preferred.
- Significant professional experience is valuable.
- Strong knowledge of mechanics, repair techniques, and standards.
- Up-to-date with technologies involving engine injection, hydraulics, and electricity.
- Safety and hygiene compliant.
- Rigorous, organized, methodical, communicative, and available.
- Required: Driving license B; C/E license is a plus.
