Heavy Vehicle and Equipment Mechanic (M/F)
Join the maintenance team responsible for repairing and servicing heavy trucks, construction machinery, urban cleaning engines, and agricultural equipment at the workshop in Caen la Mer or directly on-site. You will expertly handle hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems, diagnose faults, and manage spare parts procurement.
Qualifications & Skills
- CAP/BEP or BAC Pro in repair, heavy vehicles, agricultural machinery, or public works, or relevant professional experience.
- Solid knowledge of mechanical repair techniques and standards.
- Familiarity with engine injection, hydraulics, and electrical systems on all types of vehicles and machinery.
- Rigorous, organized, and effective communicator.
- Required driving license B; C/E highly desirable.
Working Conditions
- May work evenings, weekends, and holidays during emergencies like storms or floods.
- On-call for winter maintenance duties.
- Handling loads over 20kg in often dusty, noisy, and odorous environments.
