Heavy Vehicle and Equipment Mechanic (M/F)

Job Description

Join us as a Heavy Vehicle and Equipment Mechanic (M/F) to maintain and repair heavy trucks, public works machinery, urban cleaning equipment, and agricultural machinery either at our Cotonnière workshop or directly on various sites across the Caen la Mer urban community.

You will troubleshoot and diagnose issues across hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems, manage part pre-orders, and contribute to workshop organization and maintenance.

Profile:

• Certified CAP/BEP or BAC Pro in relevant fields or equivalent experience
• Strong mechanical skills, knowledgeable in repair techniques and standards
• Up-to-date with evolving technologies (engine injection, hydraulics, electricity)
• Rigorous, organized, methodical with good communication skills
• Possession of a driving license B required; C/E highly desirable

Work Conditions:

• Possible evening, weekend, and public holiday work during emergencies
• On-call duties as required
• Physically demanding environment with exposure to dust, noise, and odors
