Job Description
Join a dynamic and growing road transport company managing a modern fleet of trucks, tractors, and semi-trailers. We are looking for a dedicated Heavy Truck Mechanic to join our integrated workshop on a permanent contract (CDI).
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnostics: Identify mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults using diagnostic tools.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine servicing, oil changes, brake checks, and prepare vehicles for technical inspection.
- Curative Maintenance: Replace defective parts.
- Safety: Ensure compliance with safety and vehicle standards.
- Reporting: Document interventions and work follow-ups in our digital system.
Candidate Profile:
- Education: CAP, BEP, Bac Pro, or BTS in Industrial Vehicle Maintenance.
- Experience: First experience (including apprenticeship) preferred.
- Skills: Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics, adept at diagnostic software.
- Qualities: Autonomous, team player, meticulous, responsible, and organized.
- License: Mandatory category B; category C or CE is a strong plus.
Work Conditions:
- Employment type: Permanent contract (CDI)
- Work schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime hours
- No on-call duty
