Job Description
As a Heavy Truck Mechanic, your primary mission is to ensure maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of heavy trucks to guarantee their safety, reliability, and maximum availability for operations. You will work on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems of industrial vehicles, following internal procedures, manufacturer standards, and regulations.
Key responsibilities include preventive maintenance (periodic reviews, controls, adjustments, replacement of wear parts), corrective interventions after breakdowns or alerts, diagnostics, malfunction identification, cause analysis, and quality repairs with minimized vehicle downtime. You will also perform final inspections and tests.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience, strong operational understanding, ability to work autonomously, proficiency with tools and standards of the trade, and good communication skills. Personal traits include autonomy, responsibility, teamwork, adaptability, initiative, organization, and reliability.
