Join our team as a Heavy Truck and Machinery Mechanic!
Take charge of the maintenance and repairs of heavy goods vehicles, public works machinery, urban cleaning equipment, and agricultural machinery at dedicated workshops or directly on-site within the Caen la Mer urban community. Bring your skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and electricity to diagnose and resolve vehicle issues efficiently. Your role includes ordering replacement parts, organizing workshop upkeep, and contributing to emergency interventions during harsh weather conditions.
Ideal candidates hold a CAP, BEP, or BAC Pro diploma focused on repair, heavy vehicles, agricultural or public works machinery, or possess significant professional experience. Key attributes include strong mechanical knowledge, technical repair skills, adherence to safety norms, and effective communication with clients and management. Driving license B required; C/E licenses preferred.
Work environment involves physical effort including handling loads >20Kg and exposure to noisy, dusty, and odorous conditions. Availability for evening, weekend, and holiday emergency calls is essential.
