Join our team as a Heavy Goods Vehicle Mechanic!
The Equipment Fleet Service manages and maintains the vehicle fleet and rolling stock for the urban community of Caen la Mer, the city of Caen, and the CCAS. Under the authority of the team leader, you'll repair heavy goods vehicles, agricultural machinery, public works equipment, and urban cleaning machines for three local authorities, including overseeing external services.
Qualifications & Skills:
- CAP/BEP or BAC Pro in repair, heavy goods vehicles, agricultural machinery, or public works
- Solid knowledge in mechanics, repair techniques, and standards
- Familiarity with evolving technologies like engine injection, hydraulics, and electricity
- Rigorous, organized, methodical, and excellent communication skills
- Required: Driving license B; Preferred: licenses C/E
Work Conditions & Benefits:
- Possible evening, weekend, and holiday work during emergencies or adverse weather
- On-call duty and participation in winter maintenance
- Handling loads over 20kg
