As an Equipment Maintenance Manager - Mechanic, you will ensure the optimal functioning, safety, and availability of the entire equipment fleet, including machines, vehicles, tools, and pruning equipment. Your role involves maintenance, diagnostics, mechanical repairs, organization and tracking of maintenance schedules using computer systems, supplier relations, and training team members on proper equipment use and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, welding, electrical repairs on various equipment and vehicles
- Diagnose and fix common malfunctions on small machinery and automotive vehicles
- Organize and monitor maintenance schedules, manage parts inventory
- Engage suppliers, negotiate terms, and supervise external repairs
- Train new employees on equipment maintenance and promote safety awareness
