The general mechanic worker is an enlisted military personnel responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment at an air base. Working within a technical or logistical unit under the supervision of technicians or non-commissioned officers, the role covers a wide range of equipment including airport vehicles, aircraft stop systems, generators, and associated mechanical devices. The goal is to ensure availability, reliability, and safety of technical resources essential for air operations.
