The general mechanic worker is a rank-and-file military personnel responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment on an airbase. Operating within a technical or logistics unit under the supervision of technicians or non-commissioned officers, they work on a wide range of equipment including airport vehicles, aircraft arresting systems, generators, and associated mechanical equipment. Their mission is to ensure availability, reliability, and safety of essential technical means for air operations.
