The general mechanic worker is an enlisted military personnel responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment on an airbase. They work within a technical or logistical unit under the supervision of technicians or non-commissioned officers. They handle a wide range of equipment: airport vehicles, aircraft arresting systems, generators, and associated mechanical equipment. Their goal: to ensure the availability, reliability, and safety of technical resources essential for air operations.
