Job Description
The General Mechanics Worker is an enlisted military personnel responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment at an air base. Working within a technical or logistical unit under the supervision of technicians or non-commissioned officers, the role covers a wide range of equipment including airport vehicles, aircraft arresting systems, generators, and associated mechanical devices. The mission is to ensure the availability, reliability, and safety of essential technical means for air operations. Enjoy equal pay for men and women in equivalent positions, 45 days of leave annually, SNCF preferential rates up to 75% off for you and 50% for your family, plus free accommodation on base for new recruits or housing assistance if living off-base.
