The general mechanics worker is an enlisted military personnel responsible for implementing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment at an airbase. Operating within a technical or logistical unit under the supervision of technicians or non-commissioned officers, they handle a wide range of equipment including airport vehicles, aircraft stopping systems, generators, and associated mechanical equipment. Their mission is to ensure the availability, reliability, and safety of essential technical resources for air operations.
