Position Overview: Civil Engineering Mechanic (H/F)

As a Civil Engineering Mechanic, you will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of public works machinery. Your tasks include diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, using diagnostic tools to detect faults, and performing repairs on site or in the workshop. You will maintain accurate maintenance records and collaborate with the team to ensure equipment reliability and availability.

Compensation: 28,000 to 35,000 EUR gross annually plus 13th month, profit-sharing bonuses, seniority bonuses, gratification bonuses, and company stock options.

Candidate Profile:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in maintenance and repair of public works machines
  • Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and transmissions
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, schematics, and manuals
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety and rules
  • Autonomous and team-working capabilities
  • Ideally holds up-to-date low-voltage electrical certifications (BR/BC/B2V) and CACES certifications for overhead cranes (R484) and forklifts (R482)
