Job Description
As a Chief Marine Engineer onboard, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining shipboard systems. You will organize and perform routine maintenance of propulsion engines, ship equipment, and general upkeep. Manage ship stock and conduct daily safety inspections in coordination with the captain. Participate in passenger safety, deck maneuvers, and vessel maintenance when possible. Positions are based in Bénodet, Concarneau, La Forêt Fouesnant from June to the end of August.
Requirements: Valid Chief Engineer certificate (750kW, 3000kW or higher). Previous experience as Greaser Sailor, Mechanic Worker, Chief, or Machine Lieutenant preferred.
