Automotive Roadside Assistance Mechanic

About the role

Join its workshop in Vallouise as an e VL H/F e Véhicules Légers H/F.

The workshop is versatile, with work on light vehicles, heavy goods vehicles and construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine and preventive maintenance on light vehicles: oil changes, braking, tires, seasonal summer/winter changes, timing belts, clutches, etc.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical breakdowns.
• Perform repairs and restore vehicles to working order.
• Monitor the light vehicle fleet and anticipate necessary maintenance work.
• Prepare vehicles for technical inspections.
• Independently manage maintenance and repair needs for the light vehicle fleet.
• Keep your workspace and equipment in good condition.
• Occasionally participate in maintenance and repairs on heavy goods vehicles and construction equipment, according to the workshop’s needs.

Requirements

• Experience in light vehicle mechanics required.
• Good automotive mechanics skills.
• Ability to work independently and in an organized manner.
• Knowledge of heavy goods vehicles, public works equipment or construction equipment would be an advantage.
• Category B driving licence required.
