Automotive Mechanic & Tow Truck Operator (M/F) – Renault Group

Main Missions

• Perform routine and periodic vehicle maintenance (oil changes, brakes, timing, tires, etc.).
• Diagnose mechanical and electronic faults using Renault tools.
• Repair and replace parts following manufacturer standards.
• Check and update vehicle safety components.
• Conduct roadside or home intervention for breakdowns (battery, flat tire, engine failure).
• Carry out quick on-site diagnostics and offer tailored solutions.
• Tow stranded or accident vehicles to workshop or authorized centers using recovery trucks.
• Ensure vehicle and client safety while providing fast and effective service.
• Be on-call one week out of every three for off-hours interventions.

Training & Development

• Participate in internal Renault training to advance towards specialties (electric vehicles, advanced diagnostics).
• Keep up-to-date with new automotive technologies and recovery tools.

Desired Profile

• Strong automotive mechanical knowledge (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension).
• Skilled in electronic diagnostics (Renault Clip, etc.).
• Ability to perform rapid roadside repairs and operate tow trucks.
• Understanding of road safety rules and towing procedures.
• Reactivity and composure during emergency interventions.
• Customer-oriented with good interpersonal skills.
• Autonomous and team-working capabilities.
• Commitment to on-call availability.

Qualifications & Experience

• CAP / Bac Pro / BTS diploma in automotive mechanics or equivalent.
• Experience in mechanics and/or roadside assistance preferred; training offered for motivated beginners.
• Driving license B required, C desired (to be obtained post-hire for towing).
