Automotive Mechanic & Tow Truck Operator (M/F) – Renault Group (Based in Saint-Mars-Du-Désert)

Key Missions

• Perform routine and periodic vehicle maintenance (oil changes, brakes, timing, tires, etc.)
• Diagnose mechanical and electronic faults using Renault tools
• Repair and replace parts following manufacturer standards
• Check and update vehicle safety components
• Conduct roadside and home assistance (battery, flat tire, engine failure, etc.)
• Carry out rapid on-site diagnostics and suggest solutions
• Tow broken down or accident vehicles safely to workshops or authorized centers
• Operate recovery trucks and secure transported vehicles
• Communicate effectively to reassure clients ensuring fast, reliable service
• Participate in on-call rotations one week every three to cover off-hours

Development & Training

• Access Renault internal training for specializations (electric vehicles, advanced diagnostics)
• Stay updated on automotive technologies and recovery tools

Candidate Profile

• Strong automotive mechanical skills (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension)
• Proficient with electronic diagnostic tools (Renault Clip)
• Rapid response capability for roadside assistance and winch truck operation
• Knowledge of road safety and towing procedures
• Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work independently and in teams
• Availability for on-call duties one week in three

Qualifications & Experience

• CAP / Bac Pro / BTS or equivalent in automotive mechanics
• Experience in mechanics and/or roadside assistance preferred; training available for motivated beginners
• Driver's license B mandatory; C license desirable or to be obtained after hiring
