Job Description
Main Missions
- Perform routine and periodic vehicle maintenance (oil changes, brakes, timing belts, tires, etc.).
- Diagnose mechanical and electronic failures using Renault tools.
- Carry out repairs and parts replacements respecting manufacturer standards.
- Check and update vehicle safety components.
Breakdown and Towing
- Provide roadside or at-home rescue interventions (battery, flat tire, engine failure, etc.).
- Conduct quick on-site diagnostics and suggest suitable solutions.
- Tow disabled or accident vehicles to the workshop or authorized center.
- Operate a recovery truck and secure transported vehicles.
- Inform and reassure clients while ensuring quick and efficient service.
- Be on call one week out of three to cover after-hours interventions.
Training and Career Growth
- Participate in Renault’s internal training to specialize (electric vehicles, advanced diagnostics).
- Train on new automotive technologies and recovery tools.
Candidate Profile
- Strong automotive mechanical knowledge (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension).
- Proficient with electronic diagnostic tools (Renault Clip).
- Ability to react swiftly during breakdowns and operate towing trucks.
- Knowledge of road safety rules and towing procedures.
- Calm and reactive under emergency situations with a strong client service mindset.
- Autonomous and team worker with availability for rotational on-call duty.
- Education: CAP / Bac Pro / BTS in automotive mechanics or equivalent.
- Experience preferred but training available for motivated beginners.
- Valid driving license B required; license C desired or to be obtained after hiring.
