Join us as an Apprentice Heavy Vehicle Mechanic in Gap!
Are you passionate about mechanics and eager to learn a concrete, technical, and in-demand trade? Our training center AFTRAL is recruiting an apprentice mechanic in partnership with Azur Trucks Distribution & Repair starting September 2026.
Location: Gap (05)
Training: Professional Baccalaureate in Vehicle Maintenance – Road Transport Vehicles option (Aubagne)
What you'll do:
- Perform routine and preventive vehicle maintenance
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic faults
- Repair and replace faulty parts
- Conduct safety checks before vehicle release
- Work within a demanding technical workshop environment
- Collaborate with the team to ensure vehicle reliability
What we seek:
- Young candidates aged 15 to 29 years
- Minimum of 3rd-grade level education
- Interest in mechanics and vehicles
- Rigorous, attentive with a strong team spirit
- Motivated by manual and technical work
Program details:
- Duration: 24 months
- Schedule: 1 week in company / 1 week in training
- Training Location: AFTRAL Aubagne
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-12pm and 1pm-4pm
