About the role

Adecco is recruiting on behalf of one of its clients, a company specialized in the trade of agricultural equipment, for a full-time permanent Agricultural Mechanic (M/F) position based in Savières.

Location: Savières (10) Contract: Permanent contract, 39 hours per week (paid 40 hours) Annual gross salary on 13 months, according to profile

The company, established in the agricultural sector, offers reliable and sustainable technical support to its clients. The company located in Savières is looking for an Agricultural Mechanic to work on VALTRA equipment both in the workshop and on the Aube area with a fully equipped service truck. You will work on well-known brand equipment in a modern dealership with a team of 4 to 5 people. Support is provided during integration.

On a daily basis, you contribute to the proper functioning of agricultural machinery entrusted to the workshop, ensuring their reliability and availability. You carry out maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs of equipment, respecting procedures and deadlines promised to clients.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose malfunctions and operational anomalies.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance operations.
• Work on agricultural mechanics, spraying equipment, hydraulics, electronics, vehicle electrical systems, and air conditioning.
• Restore equipment functionality by replacing or repairing defective parts.
• Ensure routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs of new and used machinery sold by the company (adjustments, tests, troubleshooting).
• Prepare new and used equipment before delivery and conduct testing.
• Use specific diagnostic tools.
• Participate in managing spare parts stock: sorting, organizing, procurement, alerting service manager.
• Travel for breakdowns and repairs within the Aube area.
• Respect intervention schedules and contribute to after-sales service quality.
• Take care of routine maintenance of company buildings.

You handle diagnostics through to recommissioning, use appropriate workshop tools, follow technical diagrams and reports, maintain the workspace, and adhere to safety instructions. You work collaboratively with the workshop team and commercial service to organize interventions and provide reliable and professional service to farm operators.

Requirements

This position is for a person wishing to invest in agricultural mechanics and bring confirmed experience to the role. You appreciate demanding technical environments with operational responsibilities and seek stability in a permanent role within a specialized company. You are comfortable interacting with clients and clearly explaining your interventions.

Experience is valued in agricultural mechanics, public works, heavy goods vehicles, or rolling stock. You have strong knowledge in mechanics, electronics, pneumatics, automation, electromechanics through experience or training (CAP, BEP, or Bac Pro in mechanics and/or electronic maintenance). Solid basics in mechanics and knowledge in hydraulics, electricity, electronics or electrotechnics are required. A valid category B driving license is mandatory. The position is full-time in Savières (10600), working daytime hours.

• Work mainly in the workshop, with trips for repairs in the Aube area.
• Potential advancement to a partially itinerant position for experienced profiles.
