Job Overview
Join the Parc Matériel service team responsible for maintaining and managing agricultural and horticultural machinery for the Caen la Mer urban community. As an Agricultural Mechanic, you will perform preventive maintenance and repair on a variety of farming and landscaping equipment including mowers, chainsaws, generators, and electric bikes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintenance on diesel, gasoline, and electric motors (2 or 4 stroke)
- Repair of garden tractors, agricultural machinery, and urban cleaning equipment
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Performing small welds and sharpening tools
- Organizing the workshop and handling parts inventory
Ideal candidates have a CAP/BEP or BAC Pro in automotive repair, agricultural machinery, or public works, or significant relevant professional experience. You must be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of effective communication. Driving licenses B and C are required; E is a plus.
