Job Opportunity: Agricultural and Gardening Equipment Mechanic (M/F) at CAEN LA MER
Join the Parc Matériel team responsible for maintaining automotive and rolling equipment for the urban community of Caen la Mer, the city of Caen, and the CCAS. You will work in the mechanical workshop specialized in agricultural machinery and gardening equipment, including small machines like lawnmowers, chainsaws, and electric bikes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of diesel, petrol, and electric engines (2 or 4 stroke)
- Repair and upkeep of various agricultural and green space equipment
- Diagnosis and troubleshooting of motor and hydraulic systems
- Performing light welding, sharpening, and safety checks
- Occasionally assisting in urban cleanliness and road machinery maintenance
- Managing inventory and ordering spare parts
- Organizing and maintaining the workshop
Candidate Profile:
- CAP/BEP or BAC Pro in automotive repair, motoculture, agricultural machinery, or similar
- Solid mechanical repair knowledge and familiarity with evolving technologies (injection engines, hydraulics, electricity)
- Rigorous, organized, methodical with strong communication skills
- Hold Permits B and C; Permit E preferred
