As the Responsible Mechanic, your primary mission is to ensure the compliance and good condition (technical, safety, presentation) of the equipment offered for rent, and to organize the workshop's work (scheduling, interventions, repairs).

Your mission is divided into 3 main areas:

• Maintenance and Repair: Carry out maintenance (servicing and repair) of the equipment, diagnose breakdowns and, if necessary, perform on-site troubleshooting, and oversee interventions/repairs carried out by subcontractors.

• Team Coordination: Schedule the workshop and yard team activities, conduct a weekly yard tour with the yard manager, and train the workshop team if needed or propose training opportunities.

• Workshop Management: Prepare quotes, supplier purchase orders, inspect the conformity of parts/services upon receipt, schedule periodic maintenance/regulatory controls with clients, and manage their follow-up. Keep the workshop activity tracking documents up to date (revision checklists, equipment sheets, intervention reports), report on work progress towards set objectives, manage the stock of parts and consumables, and participate in evaluating local suppliers.

You have a technical background (BEP / BAC Pro / BTS) with a focus on industrial maintenance, construction machinery, or agricultural maintenance, and you hold experience in a similar position.
