AFF (Les Ateliers de Fabrication Ferroviaire) is a railway sector SME based in Somain, specializing in transformation, renovation, and maintenance services for railway rolling stock: locomotives, passenger cars, urban transport, and main components. We are a human-sized company (70 employees), proud of the diversity of our profiles.

Our strength lies in our motivation and finding meaning in our work. Located a few kilometers from Valenciennes, Douai, and Lille, our site is a 10-minute walk from Somain station.

We are currently focused on an exciting project to renovate/transform a passenger train into a luxury hotel train running on the national rail network.

For our project "THE GRAND TOUR," we are looking for experienced mechanical technicians with industry and/or railway experience.

Responsibilities include installing or modifying electrical equipment, with expertise in electricity being an advantage. Key skills include mechanical operations, reading and using plans, employing torque wrenches, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate is rigorous, methodical, organized, able to work independently or in a team, and possesses good interpersonal communication skills.
