A key player in recreational mechanics in Brittany, MECA NAUTISME BRETAGNE is part of the MECA DIESEL Group, supporting boaters and racing teams for many years. Our Moëlan shipyard offers a full service to individuals: water extraction, storage, maintenance, repair, and re-engineering of sailboats and motorboats. Mechanical activity at this site is 80% related to outboard motors (mainly Mercury, Yamaha, and Suzuki).
Our Lorient workshop focuses mainly on inboard propulsion with numerous interventions in the ports around Lorient. We also collaborate with yards such as Grand Large or Lorient racing teams through Nanni Diesel, which we represent from Sables d'Olonne to Dunkirk.
? Your missions
As a nautical mechanic, you will work on a wide range of boats and engines (outboard & inboard). Your main missions include:
- Performing maintenance and repair of engines, bases, reducers, and propeller shafts, at the shipyard or directly at nearby ports.
- Diagnosing and resolving failures.
- Providing re-engineering and commissioning of engines and their peripherals (equipment and accessories).
- Participating occasionally in handling operations with the site team.
- Performing minor electrical/electronic operations (installation of sounders, GPS, etc.).
- Lorient site: experience in automotive, heavy-duty, or agricultural mechanics may be suitable.
- Autonomy, rigor, and teamwork.
- Dynamism, versatility, and passion for boating.
- Customer service skills and a desire to invest in a passionate team.
