We are looking for a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic M/F for our workshop in Chaingy (45). At SARP, mechanics are responsible for the operational efficiency, reliability, and safety of our vehicles, ensuring the protection of our drivers and the satisfaction of our customers, all while adhering to safety, quality, and environmental standards. Our workshops support operations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage corrective maintenance operations
- Detect operational and wear anomalies / propose restoration
- Manage supplies for the workshop
- Repair pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Alert your manager if detecting an anomaly threatening colleague safety
- Diagnose breakdowns, estimate necessary repair parts, and perform repairs
- Ensure vehicles comply with safety and environmental regulations
- Interact directly with subcontractors
- Work on vehicles' high-pressure pump, vacuum pump, and transfer pump systems.
Working Conditions: Weekly travel across three sites in the department and occasionally across the Centre region is required. Using personal protective equipment is essential to SARP's social responsibility. Work is Monday to Friday, with no on-call duties. A degree in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Agricultural, Public Works, or Industrial Maintenance is necessary. A class B driving license is necessary, C and/or EC is a plus. Internal support and training will be provided upon arrival, offering a comprehensive understanding of our roles.
