Position Summary: As a Marine Electrotechnician, you'll handle the installation, diagnostics, maintenance, and troubleshooting of onboard electrical and electronic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and wire onboard electrical networks (low voltage, DC and AC)
- Install and connect electrical equipment: batteries, distribution boards, converters, chargers, pumps, and motors
- Integrate and configure electronic systems for navigation, communication, or safety (GPS, sonar, radar, VHF, alarms)
- Read and interpret electrical plans and diagrams
- Conduct tests, diagnostics, and repairs on existing electrical installations
- Apply current safety norms in electricity and maritime contexts
Profile Requirements:
- Education in electrotechnics, electricity, or industrial maintenance
- Previous experience in the marine sector is highly valued
- Essential skill in reading electrical plans
- Knowledge of maritime-specific norms (major asset)
- Rigor, autonomy, and teamwork orientation
- Ability to work in complex and demanding technical environments
