Our client, a leader in its field, is currently looking for a Heavy Vehicle Body Technician to join their team.
Under the supervision of the Workshop Manager, you will directly operate at our clients' premises to ensure maintenance and repair of their heavy vehicles. Your main tasks include:
- Apply HSE procedures and adhere to management directives.
- Notify your supervisor of any anomalies or challenges faced.
- List parts to be replaced, check their conformity, and ensure the proper execution of tasks.
- Maintain your work area and tools in good condition, report any malfunctions.
- Perform tasks indicated on repair orders: maintenance, minor mechanics, bodywork, and painting.
- Determine and apply paint tints, treat and protect surfaces.
- Check and reshape body parts, chassis, and structures, replace or adjust necessary parts.
- Remove and reassemble mechanical parts, trim components, and electrical/electronic systems related to the intervention.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication.
- Proficient with digital tools, notably the use of tablets for tracking interventions.
- Proven experience in industrial vehicle maintenance.
- Mastery of welding techniques, as well as tools and machine tools.
- Good knowledge of various metallurgical, mechanical, or industrial materials.
- A valid Driver's License (Category B) is essential.
