Job Position: Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (M/F)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and necessary repairs on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems of heavy vehicles, replacing defective/worn out components.
- Make adjustments and fine-tune engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and other components on new or running trucks.
- Participate in on-call duties once every 7 weeks.
- Perform performance tests post-repair and maintenance to ensure the proper functioning of heavy vehicles.
- Collaborate with team members to solve complex technical problems and share knowledge.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the repair workshop to ensure a safe, efficient working environment.
Contract Details:
- Full-time position, Monday to Saturday with a day off during the week
- 37.5 hours weekly
- Day shift
- Saturday hours: 6:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Profile Required:
- Minimum of 2 years professional experience in a garage (heavy or light vehicles) as a mechanic.
- If experience is in agricultural or construction vehicle mechanics, the garage is ready to provide in-house training to expand the candidate's skills in heavy vehicle mechanics.
