Job description

Join our team as a Heavy Vehicle and Utility Mechanic (m/f)! Reporting to the workshop manager, you'll work in exceptional conditions. Your main responsibilities include performing preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy vehicles and utilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and analyze faults and malfunctions.
  • Modify, repair, adapt, and ensure compliance of equipment.
  • Conduct adjustments, fine-tuning, tests, and equipment assembly.
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance.
  • Prepare vehicles for technical inspection.
  • Provide day and possibly night troubleshooting based on skills.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in mechanics, electronics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and welding.
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to quickly detect vehicle and equipment malfunctions.
  • Skill in changing or repairing engines, gearboxes, clutches, suspensions, and starters.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in mechanics, ideally in heavy vehicles/utilities or related fields like automotive, construction equipment, or agriculture.

Education: BAC Pro, CQP, or equivalent in vehicle repair.

Conditions: Day shifts from 08:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 18:00. No work on Saturdays. The role requires punctuality, organization, teamwork, and a strong service orientation.
