Spheré intérim is recruiting for its client a Heavy Duty Mechanic.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy vehicles (engine, gearbox, clutch).
- Conduct diagnostics with multi-brand tools and interpret 12/24 V schematics.
- Work on ABS/EBS braking, pneumatics, suspensions, steering, exhaust/DPF, SCR/AdBlue, air conditioning.
- Prepare vehicles for technical inspections and perform tests (as per license).
- Install and maintain equipment: tailgates, skips, hydraulic units, hitches.
- Complete orders/management systems, establish simple cost diagnostics and advise clients.
- Strictly adhere to safety/quality rules and 5S workshop practices.
Desired Profile
- CAP/BEP/Bac Pro in Vehicle Maintenance - Heavy Vehicle option (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency in diesel mechanics, electricity/electronics 24 V, hydraulics/pneumatics.
- Comfortable with diagnostic tools (Texa/Jaltest/manufacturer).
- C driving license appreciated for tests and travel (CE = asset).
- Appreciation for quality work, diligence, teamwork and adherence to HSE instructions.
- Motivated beginners accepted: internal training on brands (Renault Trucks, DAF, MAN, Scania, etc).
