If you love aeronautics but not the routine, if you are agile, flexible, and reactive, the OSW detachment is made for you! We work on the complete fuselage of the A320/A321 and A350 programs to complete remaining tasks from the Montoir-de-Bretagne and Hamburg factories and repair or replace damaged elements during the assembly cycle until the aircraft's delivery.
Our multi-skilled team values the versatility of our members and seeks Aeronautical Structure Mechanics enthusiastic about developing their skills in mechanical systems (hydraulic, pneumatic, oxygen...) and/or electrical installations.
Your missions
- Prepare and integrate aircraft system components according to the definitions and applicable rules.
- Integrate and/or replace components or subassemblies to create major assemblies.
- Use hand tools or machines to install or dismantle parts.
- Ensure the completeness of factory tasks.
- Provide FAL (Final Assembly Line) / Customer Line support on avionics system replacements.
Occasional professional trips in France/Europe may be required.
Variable work hours based on activity:
- 2x8 - 9/10th
- Nights
- Weekends (SD/VSD)
Let’s talk about you! You have training as an aviation structure mechanic with over 18 months of experience in the aerostructure technical environment, with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
Technical skills:
- Aircraft structural fitting and assembly
- Knowledge of avionics systems
- Quality fundamentals
- Auto-verification knowledge
- Metrology knowledge
Soft skills:
- Rigorous, versatile, and service-oriented
- Proactive in optimizing end-to-end processes with client and internal interlocutors to improve efficiency, reactivity, and profitability within the Exchange perimeter.
Languages:
- French: advanced
- English: intermediate (B1)
Let’s talk about us! Toulouse: Airbus Atlantic teams work on FAL Toulouse and form the fuselage detachment for the single-aisle and wide-body programs at Montoir-de-Bretagne. They focus on assembly operations, system installations, tests, and remaining work (OSW) on aircraft before the Delivery Center.
